ELIZABETH PAYTE - ATTORNEY AT LAW

  CONROE, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TEXAS

Campaign Goals and Objectives

EXPERIENCE AND COMPASSION

Elizabeth is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University and South Texas College of Law.

I began my career as a teacher in the Klein Independent School District from 1970 until 1980. During the ten years that I taught, I saw families, especially children, devastated by divorce and custody battles. I have comforted children who were so abused and/or neglected that they were unable to perform at their best. I was compelled to become an attorney and to protect those children who were caught in these horrible situations. Situations that they were powerless to control. I left teaching to pursue a career as an attorney, graduating law school in August of 1983, set out to make a difference.

I began representing hundreds of children in CPS (Child Protective Services) cases, juvenile cases, divorce cases and adoptions as an Attorney or Guardian Ad Litem.

I have represented hundreds of neglected and abused children during my 24 years of practice.

I have represented families and individuals in virtually every aspect of legal service, including divorces, modifications, adoptions, terminations of parental rights, probate, guardianships, juvenile offenders and minor settlement cases.

My passion is to make sure that every person has a voice in a court proceeding, especially the children.
